Michael Zitomer is a trial lawyer and mediator who has practiced in Palm Springs, California since 1974. Mr. Zitomer has received training as a mediator from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine University School of Law. Mr Zitomer has served as a Trustee, Officer, and President of the Desert Bar Association. He has been a member of numerous professional organizations and has served as a mediator for the Riverside County Superior Court, as a Judge Pro Tem, as a Court Appointed Discovery Referee and as a Special Master.
Mr. Zitomer's experience is mostly in litigation and trial work. He has tried in excess of 50 jury trials, numerous court trials and has represented clients in arbitrations and mediations. Mr. Zitomer has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in business disputes, real estate disputes, personal injury cases, medical malpractice cases and product liability cases, and defendants in criminal cases. He is also experienced in litigation involving trusts, estates and elder abuse.
In the early years of Mr. Zitomer's practice, the majority of his time was devoted to defending criminal cases and representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. Since then his practice has evolved to where the vast majority of his time is devoted to the litigation of business and real estate disputes. He represents real estate developers, physicians, medical groups, retailers, real estate brokers, buyers and sellers of real estate and numerous other individuals and business entities.
Mr. Green has been licensed to practice law in the State of California since 1990. He spent his first 9 years of practice at the Los Angeles based law firm of Lewis, D' Amato, Brisbois and Bisgaard and has been associated with Mr. Zitomer since 1999. Mr. Green is also licensed to practice law in the states of New York and Minnesota. Mr. Green is also a real estate Broker licensed by the California Department of Real Estate.
